Ogoja City-Wide Revival has just been conlcuded on Sunday 8th October, 2006. It was a great time of refreshing for the Ogoja people in Ogoja District, in the South Eastern part of Nigeria, when the General Superintendent, Rev. Dr. Charles Osueke and his evangelistic team arrived on Friday 6th October, 2006 to declare the goodness of the LORD. Annual Consultative Meeting: 14th October 2006

There is going to be a Consultative Assembly for Ministers and Members coming up on the 14th of October this year. The Annual Consultative Forum will focus on issues such as Evangel University, Evangel Camp, Evangel Corporate Ministries, Operation Harvest Missions and the Challenges of Building the Church in the 21st Century. The General Superintendent Rev. Dr. Charles Ogbonnaya Osueke who is the convener of the forum calling for this meeting, will also want to speak on the need for Spiritual, Moral and Financial Empowerment in building the church in this 21st century. We are inviting lay people to attend this important meeting. The Venue will be at Presidential Hotel Enugu, Enugu State. Please come and be blessed!


The Assistant General Superintendent, Rev. Franklin Ukomah

General Council 2006: Rev. Franklin Ukomah Retires

The Assistant General Superintendent, Rev Franklin Ukomah would be retiring from active ministry and would at the next General Council meeting coming up in November 2006. Details about his legacy will be published next month on this site, in honour of his service. He would not be standing for election. About six other members of the Executive Committee, who are no more Superintendents in their district may not be qualified to feature in the Executive Presbytery. See pictures of the outgoing members." New Executive Committee will usually be elected at the end of four year tenure. The Venue will be at the International Conference Center, Evangel Camp, along Abakaliki-Enugu Expressway.


A/G U.S Missionary to Nigeria :: Rev. Scot Ennis

Scot Ennis loses Driver and Jeep to Robbers.

Armed Robbers attacked and killed the driver of the Rev Scot Ennis, a US missionary in Nigeria last week at New Haven, Enugu. The driver and the military Escort who at the time was not armed, went to a shopping center to shop, packed their vehicle by the side of the shop when the robbers arrived and fired shot into the drivers body and made away with the jeep. On Tuesday 20th June 2006, before the commencement of the second day of the National Revival Summit of the National Church: Peniel 2006, the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Nigeria Rev. Dr. Charles Ogbonnanya Osueke delivered an address to the First Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Nigeria Dr Sam Ominyi Egwu. Members Executive Committee, of the General Council of the Assemblies of God Nigeria, accompanied the General Superintendent.
