The Directorate of Corporate Planning is embarking on the following projects in the year 2004.
The Evangel House Annex is a three building complex, which will be an extension of the currently existing General Council Secretariat. The complex will contain the Office of the General Superintendent, the Offices of the Evangel Corporate Ministries, the Evangel Digital Communications Centre, and the Evangel Resort, which will be a set of residential quarters. The Project is expected to kick off in March 2004 and will run until September 2004.
The aim of this project is to produce a fully digital map of the entire country, complete with information on the extent of evangelistic and missionary work in Nigeria. The Map will highlight all the Autonomous Communities, Peoples Groups and Local Government Areas indicating where Church-planting and evangelistic activities have been carried out and also where more work needs to be done.
The National Church is in need for an efficient Information Technology Backbone, which will be centred around five major objectives:
- Information Management
- Communication Management
- World Evangelization
- Education and Capacity Building
- Fund Generation
The project is broken into four phases:
The Project will begin in January 2004 and is expected to last for a period of ten years.
