Assemblies Of God Nigeria Peniel 2008 - "The LORD God Omnipotent Reigneth"
The Sixth Edition of the National Revival Summit of the Assemblies of God Nigeria, Peniel 2008 with the team: "The LORD God Omnipotent Reigneth" comes up June 16-20 2008 at the International Conference Center of the church Okpoto (Evangel Camp) Km. 48 Enugu-Abakaliki express way, Ebonyi State. More than 100,000 persons from all works of life and from all the 36 states of the federation and Abuja are expected. The General Superintendent Rev. Dr. Charles Ogbonnanya Osueke, the National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Pastor Ayo Oritsejfor, Bishop Simeon Okah and Rev Dr Omobude from other ministries in Edo State, as well as other anointed men of God will be featuring at this great and glorious occasion. Evangel University Partners
Assemblies of God Nigeria is mobilizing about 100,000 persons as partners to support the effort towards establishing a University before the year 2010. A partner is expected to support with sum of N10,000 per annum for five years. The Church is expected to raise the sum of N5 billion in the next few years. Already, the University Committee has set plans in motion for the realization of the vision. More than 10,000 persons have indicated their commitment to the project.
Operation 7575
The Church is about to experience an unprecedented revival in the baptism in the Holy Spirit. This was the focus of the just concluded National Pastors’ Conference held throughout the country recently. Under Operation 7575, the Church is expected to monitor a spiritual growth phenomenon that will make 3 out of every 4 persons or 75% of its membership baptized in the Holy Spirit by the 2009, when the Church will celebrate 75 years anniversary. The Director of Corporate Planning, Rev Uche Ama gave a detailed explanation of new plan to the leadership conference recently. The focus on the baptism of the Holy Spirit is more critical to the Church than ever, in faciing the challenges of the 21st century.
